the "shakin" project day 2

heyy  its me again
umm today in cram we had a supply teacher because mr hind wasent here, so we started by getting back into our groups of 2-3 people. once i was in my group we decided to give each group member a piece of paper so we could draw up our individual ideas. after everyone had finished drawing their own ideas we came together as a group and discussed our findings. we came to a conclusion that we should make our ideas on the computer so its easier to edit. shortly after we had started creating our ideas using the computers it was time to leave for lunch. after lunch we came bac to our class where we started adding finishing touches to our individual designs. near the end of period 6 our individual designs where nearly complete and this is when we decided we would add the best parts ofeach individul design together to make the ultimate design. i alo tried to print of my design but due to technical problems this was not possible..

shakin moo's shakin brief by a shakin guy ;)

today my day started at parkside where we were told that we were going to see Chris at shakin moo's to get our brief. the time we had before break we used to plan out what questions we were going to ask Chris for example his branding and his strengths and weekneses. after break we left parkside on our long cold journey to shakin moo's. we arrived 2 minutes early so we had to wait outside. once 2 minutes were over the owner "Chris" arrived on is bicycle and let us into to the funky milkshake shop. while we were there the owner talked to us about what he would like us to do for his business and how he would like us to present it to him after the five weeks. he enthusiastically stated that he was intending to use the winning flier to further his business, he also said that the winning team would get a "bucket of shakes". we had a short discussion about what we will be doing over the five week period and he gave us personal details so we can get in touch with him whenever we need to ask him about designs or graphics or any other queries. then Chris gave us a chance to buy milkshakes and try on Mr Moo. after this we left to head back to parkside where lunch had began. once lunch was over we made our way back to class where we were put into groups of 2-3 people and we were given some time to have a group meeting and work on our ideas. after the group meeting we came back to the main classroom where we read through sheets of paper which told us what we had to achieve the grade we where aiming for. then we went back to the computers to find more ideas for our group. shortly after this the bell rang and the day was over.

There are some good comments here. You describe what you did in the lessons very well but you do need to try to be much more reflective about your work and progress. How did you develop and refine your ideas? Try to include pictures and much much more detail.

finishing our fliers..

today in CRAM  we started by finishing of the posters we started last week but our group had not finished so we were alowed to do anything we wanted on the laptops. once everyone had finished we got given the task to finish complete the fliers we had started 2 weeks ago. i started by finding the pictures of food that i had taken and picking the best one,once i had picked the best one i imported it into photoshop to edit it and make it perfect for my unique flier. after i had finished editing the photo i started on my flier using photoshop. i made the background completely balck then had red coming up from the bottom right corner, at first i wasen't sure how to do this but then i got there in the end with a little help from a friend. now i had finally done my background, i added text 'CAFE LE PORTATIL', our companies name. then i inserted my picture  into my flier and positioned it in an aprropriate place. i now started adding a slogan and some small text to add the sense of perfectionism to my flier. after this sir showed all the fliers on the projector..

we started by dividing into two groups. in my group we went to another room and mr hind told us what our task was for the next 9 weeks, after that we looked at yellow pages and sir gave us a scenario and told us that we had to find a plumber. after everyone  had found there individual plumber, sir asked us  why we had chosen that specific plumber and who else had chose it, he gave us a list of possible reasons we could have chosen the specific advert.
after that task was complete sir gave us a brief which was to advertise a mobile cafe and he told us to get into groups of 2-3 i worked with hadid fani and we named our cafe 'cafe la portable' we also had to name our group our group was called 'black gold' once we had completed this minor task we started on our major task by creating a rough draft of our advertisement flier.after this we went out to take photographs of things to represent our cafe's.
